To,
The Honorable Chairman,
National Anomaly Committee,
Department of Personnel and Training -
JCA section
North Block New Delhi 110001
Sub : Request to
resolve the cadre specific glaring anomalies arising out of 7th CPC
implementation in respect to the Postmaster Grade I, II, III and Senior
Postmaster cadres at Department of Posts - reg
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Reference: This association even
letter number AIAPS/GS/anomaly/15-16
dated at New Delhi the 01st October 2016 with the following reminder requests even dated 03.11.2016,
05.12.2016
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Respected sir,
A kind reference is invited to the above
references, vide above references this association is requested the
departmental and as well as national anomaly committees to resolve the
Postmaster Cadre specific glaring anomalies by upgrading the grade pay of
Postmaster Grade I/II/III/Sr. Postmaster posts to the Grade pay
Rs.4200/Rs.4600/Rs.4800/Rs.5400 respectively for the following reasons.
1.
7th
CPC honorable chairman duly recognized the importance of the Postmaster cadre
and given a lengthy justification para about Postmaster cadre in the 7th
CPC report. But unfortunately Postmaster Grade I was not given with any
weightage for passing the Departmental competitive exam with merit and simply
kept at par with LSG cadre grade pay of Rs. 2800/- instead of Rs.4200.
2. In the 7th
CPC report “two different pay was fixed for the identical cadres viz., Senior
Postmaster and Superintendent of Post offices”. Postmaster cadre line Senior
Postmaster Cadre was given with lower pay of Rs.4800 instead of Rs.5400.
Even after this
association’s repeated reminder requests on 03.11.2016 and 05.12.2016, not even
interim reply was given to our genuine demands which demanded ourselves to hold
the apex directorate body meeting with the respected Postal Member (P) and our
recognized association AIAPS staff side on 15.12.2016. That time also our
respected member (P) and administration team had assured to give the solid
reply for our AIAPS Association memorandum within the fortnight time.
But that assurance is also yet to be
honored even after the lapses of nearly two months to protect the welfare of
the esteemed officers of this prestigious department.
We
are still having much faith on the directorate mechanisms and the assurances
given by the Member (P) of Postal directorate. But even after the
repeated request letters, reminders and even
as per the respected Member (P) sir assurances, if at least interim reply is not given about
the present position of the above mentioned subject to this association without
further delay, then this association has no other option except knocking the
honorable court of law to get justice for our legitimate genuine demands.
Thanking you. Yours faithfully
