"Allowance report to be submitted today"

Proving all earlier reports wrong, the committee for higher allowances for central Govt. employees yet to submit it's report.

Now NJCA Chairman Mr Shiv Gopal Mishra predicts the report to be submitted today. As today has been the last date of the extended tenure of the committee, he may have predicted this before media!

Here is the recent media report from India.com published on 21.02.2017

Directorate Letter No. 20-45/2016-SPB-II dated 18th Feb 2017 regarding clarification on Benchmark for Promotion.

IPPB to Send and Receive Money on the Basis of Aadhaar Number

Your 12-digit Aadhaar number could soon become your single-point payment address.

With the help of India Post Payment Bank (IPPB), over 112 crore Indians will be able to send and receive money only on the basis of the Aadhaar number; it won't matter whether it is linked to a bank account or not.

India Post Payment Bank CEO AP Singh told that currently, Aadhaar is not a payment address in itself, but the payments bank, which plans to start operations from September 2017, will change that. The bank, which hopes to cover at least 650 districts of the country in the initial stage, aims to “simplify and universalise” payments systems.

Bank Strike – Around 10 lakh Bank Employees will go on a day long strike on February 28.

bank strikeAround 10 lakh bank employees will go on a day long bank strike on February 28. The strike call is to demand criminal action against wilful defaulters and reimbursement of cost of demonetisation to the banks.

“The government should reimburse the cost of demonetisation to banks. This cost and the business loss during the period of nearly two months will have a cascading effect on the balance sheets of the banks, and the brunt will be borne by the bank employees and officers alone,” All India Bank Employees’ Association General Secretary C H Venkatachalam said on Sunday.
Venkatachalam demanded criminal action against wilful defaulters of bank loans as, according to him, only that can reduce such irregularities in the banking industry.

        The Honorable Secretary Posts,

Subject: Requesting modification in All India Combined draft seniority list of Postmaster Grade III cadre as per the seniority in the feeder cadre(LSG cadre) – reg
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Reference 1: 1-5/2015-SPB-II dated at Dak Bhawan, Sansad Marg, New Delhi, the 11th July 2016
Reference 2:  This association letter even no AIAPS/GS/Grade-III/15-16 dated at New Delhi the 20th July 2016 followed by the reminder requests even dated 08th November 2016 and 05th December 2016
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Respected sir,

Vide above reference 1 of the Postal Directorate, All India Combined draft Seniority list of Postmaster Grade III was released and the seniority of the officials was listed according to the date of joining in Postmaster Grade II instead of the seniority in the feeder grade i.e., merit of the LSG gradation list.

Vide above reference 2 of this service association, this association is already requested to modify the draft seniority as per the merit list of the feeder cadre (LSG cadre) instead of date of joining. That date of joining dislocation was caused because of the dual call offered by the postal directorate to opt the Postmaster cadre by the LSG cadre officials under initial constitution clause once during 2010 and again during 2013 instead of only once.

Because of the prolonged delay in the circulation of finalized Postmaster Grade III All India Combined Seniority this association had submitted the reminder requests on 08.11.2016 and 05.12.2016 to the earliest circulation of finalized Postmaster Grade III All India combined Seniority list.
