Dear Postmasters
This All India association of Postal Supervisors is receiving so many objections from the Senior Grade III officials regarding the order of seniority in Grade III according to the date of joining instead of inter-se seniority in the feeder grade.
AIAPS(GL) shall take up the case shortly and scanned copy of the letter shall be published in due course

Respected sir,
Vide above reference 1, All India Combined Seniority list of Postmaster Grade
III was released and the seniority of the officials was listed according to the
date of joining in Postmaster Grade II instead of the seniority in the feeder
grade i.e., merit of the LSG gradation list.
But vide above reference 2, it is clearly circulated to follow the inter-se seniority in the feeder grade while promotions.
Many of our members are affected badly
because of date of joining seniority since every
postal circle had taken their own stipulated period while posting the above
officials into the cadre of Postmaster Grade II. Hence it is not the
mistake of the officials joined belatedly and this association is receiving so
many objections from our staff side because of the injustice caused to them for
not adhering the above mentioned DOPT guidelines.
So this association requests the
honorable DG to modify and recirculate
the Grade III combined seniority list as
per the seniority in the feeder grade vide above reference 2 DOPT
guidelines and render justice to the aggrieved supervisory officials.
A Line in reply would be highly
solicited.
Thanking you

Noida Yours sincerely
Congratulations for the immediate response....
