LETTER FROM SHRI N.S. TO SHRI K.V.S

Draft was made by Shri N. Subramanian PM GrII, NFPE Western Region Secretary, regarding allowing the PM cadre officials, to appear in IP/PS Group B exam to Shri K.V.Sridharan. NFPE., General Secretary. The same has been reproduced below.

*Dear KVS Anna,*

*It is anticipated line of reply by the government that the Postmaster
cadre is separate hierarchy and they cannot sit in IPO/PS Gr B examination.*

*But Why they barred for  Sr PM exam also?*

*PM Grade officials by the nature of their hierarchy will be permitted to
sit in SR.PM  examination.*

*But unfortunately all the 75 % examination quota is only given to IPOs is

much controversial as they are already  enjoying in PS Gr B exam under 19%

quota apart from 75% regular promotion in PS Gr B.*

*Why we fail to demand for permitting  PM Grade officials  to appear for

not only IPO,PS Gr B but also SENIOR POSTMASTER EXAMINATION?*

*1.If we demand for SENIOR POSTMASTER EXAMINATION, govt cannot refuse in

the name of stream  as it is the hierarchy of PMGRADE.*

*2.Until the issue is settled  no Exam for PS Gr B,Sr PM or IPO shall be

conducted.*

*3. we wiil not fail in this matter like previous year*

*4. Even a PA of SBCO can sit for IPO, why the PM Grade is barred .*

*5. There is no bar in PS Gr B R/R about postmaster grade officials*

*6. Please confirm whether any changes is under process in PM cadre R/R for

permitting PM Grade officials alongwith IPOs  in SR.PM  EXAM.

*7. If you cannot do this then no body can .*

* So many messages are pouring to me to insist you to  takeup this matter

at directorate at the meeting on 21/5/2012 and  try to stop the PS GR B

exam  to be conducted on 3/6/12.*

*   I feel our claim is right and logical and now ball is in your court to

make the goal on 21/5/2012 talks*
