Manner of Delivery of Speed Post Articles containing Passports

It has been decided by the Ministry of External affairs New Delhi that the present modality of delivering the speed post artilce containing Pass port "either to the addressee or his/her authorised representative on behalf of the addressee" is the most viable one and will be continued for Passport delivery system. The said decision has been comminucated vide Department of Posts OM no: 57-01/2010-BD & MD dtd 11-04-2011.

Finding IP address in Yahoo! Mail !!

1. Login to your Yahoo! mail with your username and password.

2. Click on Inbox or whichever folder you have stored your mail.

3. Open the mail.

4. If you do not see the headers above the mail message, your headers are not displayed. To display the headers,

* Click on Options on the top-right corner

* In the Mail Options page, click on General Preferences

* Scroll down to Messages where you have the Headers option

* Make sure that Show all headers on incoming messages is selected

* Click on the Save button

* Go back to the mails and open that mail

5. You should see similar headers like this:

Yahoo! headers : name

Look for Received: from followed by the IP address between square brackets [ ]. Here, it is 202.65.138.109.

That is be the IP address of the sender!

6. Track the IP address of the sender

NEW RD AGENTS PACKAGE SETUP

It is reported that while installing the software an error message


While installing RD Customer Package, an error 'Error 1334. The file 'GlobalControls_COMCT332OCX_f0.64768830_83DC_ 11D2_B95D_006097C4DE24' cannot be installed because the file cannot be found in cabinet file 'Data1.cab'. This could indicate a network error....' occurs.

This error message comes again  when we install Microsoft Access Run time is installed.
Hence New setup provided by SDC.

FAQs related to the New Pension Scheme (NPS)

1.    Whether a retiring Government servant is entitled for leave encashment after retirement under the NPS?

      The benefit of encashment of leave salary is not a part of the retirement benefits admissible under Central Civil Services (Pension) Rules, 1972. It is payable in terms of CCS (Leave) Rules which will continue to be applicable to the government servants who join the government service on after 1-1-2004. Therefore, the benefit of encashment of leave salary payable to the governments/to their families on account of retirement/death will be admissible.

How to Find the IP Address of the Sender in G mail

When you receive an email you receive the messages from the sender attached files etc. We dont even know from which place this mail has sent to us or even the IP address of sender. If we know the ip address we can track the IP address using some websites in the inter net. The email comes with some information’s that can tell where the email has been sent from and possibly who sent it.The below instructions help you to find the IP address of the sender in G mail

Krishnan, Secretary General, NFPE, met Senior officers of the Directorate today, DDG (P) informed that regarding 25% outside recruitment in Postmen cadre the DOP&T has given approval for removal of “25% outside quota recruitment”. The file has been sent to Law Ministry for clearance. It may take minimum two weeks to one month for getting approval from Law Ministry. After that revised recruitment rules will be notified and Postmen Examination for the year 2011 and 2012 will be held.
