Enhancement of financial powers of Head Postmasters - reg

Out come of All India Association of Postmasters, Tamilnadu circle Meeting at Trichy on 23.11.2014

         Tamilnadu Circle Postmasters meeting was successfully organized on 23.11.2014. Shri. Ramakrishnan presided the meeting and the Circle Secretary Shri.R.Rajendran welcomed all. All over the Tamilnadu, Postmasters are attended the meeting and expressed their thoughts, grievances and agitations. At the End Shri. K. Kalimuthu Circle Finance secretary thanked everyone for the participations and concluded the meeting. Delicious Lunch was also arranged at the end of the meeting to all the postmasters.

The following resolutions were taken in the circle level review meeting which was recently held at Trichirappalli  620 014 on 23/11/2014

1 .Separate association is must and an inevitable one .

2. obtaining consent letters from all our post master cadre officers, in our circle .

3. As one time measurement to all PM Gr II  posts  should be observed  to PM Gr

     III  posts

4.All the identified PM grade offices should the manned by the Post master cadre

    Officials only

5.Restriction in officiating PM Grade short term vacancies should be lifted  since

    Those were manned by non- qualified general line time scale PA officials

6. Regional level meeting has to be arranged once in three months, for the betterment of AIAPC 

7. After completion of two years  the probationary period,  all the Post master Cadre officials should be given confirmation orders.

8. All PM Gr ‘ s  designation  should be properly communicated in all official Communications by the DOP.

9. An increment should be given to the official those who are holding higher responsibilities in same grade pay .

10.Financial powers should be enhanced  from rs 50/-  to  rs 500/-

11.All the Sr. Postmaster posts upto Chief Post master should be allotted for Postmaster  cadre officials only since we are in same hierarchy.

12. AIAPC, TN circle appreciates and will support to our Com Thirumalai , PM Gr I , Oddenchathram LSG So for his striving judiciary proceedings to get the notional increment to those having higher responsibilities in the same grade pay.

13.AIAPC, strongly condemns the unions for isolating our cadre, and will Boycott  from participating in forthcoming strikes by trade unions

14. AIAPC will write letter to the appropriate authorities , request the Namakkal      divisional  heads to allow our PM Gr officiers to use  “ POSTMASTER Grade rubber stamps .

15.AIAPC, TN circle assures that it will support their members.

Dear Postmasters,

              We are really delighted for your profound response from all over the country- from Kashmir in the north to Kanyakumari in the South and from Gujarat in the west to Nagaland in the far East.

              Now we feel that all of our friends in Postmaster Cadre are highly charged to get our desired goal i.e. firstly the recognition of our dream All India Association of Postmaster Cadre and secondly to represent our matters before the 7th Central Pay Commission.

              It is noticed that some of our dear friends are sending Membership Declaration Forms and Letter of Authorization  forms directly to Sri Ganesh Sable, Postmaster, Grade-I, General Secretary (Ad-hoc Committee), All India Association of Postmaster Cadre, Dharavi PO, Mumbai-400017  which doesn’t match with our Action Plan sent vise Mail dtd 10/09/2014.

Action Plan Supplementary 1.

Dear Postmasters,

                            The Postal Directorate letter No 13/2/2014-SR dated 11th November, 2014 duly published in our Blog on 17/11/2014 http://aiapcchq.blogspot.in/ is a giant leap forward towards our goal of being recognised as a new service association (All India Association of Postmaster Cadre).

                             The letter from Directorate removes all kinds of prejudices and doubts towards the formation of our association but strengthen the prospects of formation of the same. That our line of action is being already on the right track we need to fulfil the omissions as suggested by the Directorate to enable them to consider our proposal.

                              It’s an appeal to all concerned to take part in the process of obtaining recognition of Service Association as per the following suggested course of action and strictly adhering to the dates considering the reason to represent our matters before the 7th Central Pay Commission for which early recognition of All India Association of Postmaster Cadre is extremely essential.
