During 1886 May 1st, because of the continuous struggles and protests at Chicago, America and other countries, after sacrificing so many lives, 8 hours work, 8hours rest, 8 hours sleep was ensured to all the labours by law.
But for the past 4 years that hard earned 8 hours work labour right was blown into wind after CBS, CIS, CSI at DOP.
Nowadays our DOP staffs are habituated to work for more than 10 hours by losing our hard earned labour right for nothing.
If down time faced in CBS, CIS, CSI, then that should be definitely compensated at any cost. That was also not claimed by us.
Against to the campaign work, As an indoor staffs, we should definitely be at office premises, during our duty hours to curb out frauds and misappropriations. But deviated to our basic duty, we are standing at streets.
Besides that Same pay was also not ensured to GDS and contingent staffs against to the labour rights.
So all AIAPS office bearers and members may please be much resistance against such exploitations by joining our hands with other unions of DOP.
To tribute to labour patriots, Let's pledge all working class to be more united, to strong enough to ensure our labour world again with 8 hours work/rest/sleep.
