The Postmaster Grade I Examination is to be held on 15.06.2014 . The Department Circular is posted for kind reference.
There is a good career prospect for the Cadre and in future all Post offices will be manned only by the Postmaster Cadre officials.
Separate Pay structure is also proposed to be placed with the 7th Pay commission with reference to the duties and higher responsibilities in the Job.
The Present Cadre review also aims to bring all Single and double handed Post offices to the Grade of 2800/- ie LSG wherein 1/3 of the offices will be identified for Postmaster Grade I and all Triple handed and LSG Post offices will be brought under 4200/- grade pay ie Present offices will be upgraded.
In future there will be numerous Grade I and Grade II offices within the Division ..
Grade I to Grade II will be after 6 years
Grade II to Grade III will be after 5 years
Grade III to Sr PM cadre will be after 2 years
Hence successful officials will be able to work within the Division for 11 years ie Grade I & II
It is kindly requested that all those who are interested in the Postmaster Cadre line to submit their willingness application to the Divisional Office.

but still no training given to 2013 selected batch and no posting orders issued to selected in the exam conducted on 30/06/2013......before giving posting order to selected candidatted department going to conduct another exam....? what is this injustice....? whether selected candidates has to apply for same exam again to expect early arrival of posting order through 2014 exam......? ReplyDeleteDon't worry Mr. Hoovappa you need not apply and appear for the same exam again if already passed your seniority will be maintained and try to post your grievance to CHQ for taking the case with Directorate. Posting and conduction of exam are different and are going in its way.
