Did you read the LSG recruitment rules? In that recruitment rules, officials who are all completed 5 years service in the pay band 5200-2400-20200 is automatically eligible to promote as LSG SPM with pay band 5200-2800-20200 without any examination. If so What my question is, If after 5 years service, without examination we are eligible for 2800 grade pay, then what is the need of writing PM Grade I without any remuneration? Will cadre restructure committee and anomaly take this issue? Give vide publicity among our Postmaster cadre friends and union secretaries who are serving as Postmaster cadre now.
Yes it is true that any separation will make us weaker. We are in favour of unity which is our strength.But at the same time there are some demands from our union for one time measuremnt in promotion to HSG-I for those officials who are recently promoted as HSG-II. And after promoting them as HSG-I they will first be considered for Postmaster Grade-III by inviting them to opt for Postmaster Cadre.At the same time the PM Grade-II officials who have been previously promoted as HSG-II in the years during 2008-2010 will become junior to those HSG-II Officials who will opt for PM Grade-III after one time measurement even though they have not opted for PM Cadre in the year 2011 when they have been given two chances to opt for .Will this not be a clear injustice for the PM Cadre Officials who are going to complete their tenure and bearing the challangin responsiblities of Post Master since last 4 years? Please try to find out the answer. This is the matter of injustice which must not be acceptable.
