All India Association of Postal Supervisors representatives, had the formal meeting with our hon'ble secty posts on 25.07.17 at Dak Bhawan and had the elaborated discussion for the 12 agendas submitted.

From administration side Shri.A.N.Nandha, hon'ble Secty Posts, DDG(Estt), DDG(P), ADG(SPN) are all attended the meeting.

From our staff side Shri &Smt/s Manoj Bhardwaj General Secretary, Savithri Venkatesan Vice President, K.Kalimuthu, R.Rajendran, Ganesh Sable, Amruthalingam, M.Subramanian are all attended. 

The meeting was lasted from 11am to 1pm.

Grant of Extra Work Allowance : Decision of 7th CPC

Over 4.2 lakh posts vacant in central government departments: MoS PMO

NEW DELHI: Over 4.2 lakh posts are vacant in various central government departments, Minister of State for Personnel Jitendra Singh informed the Rajya Sabha today. 

Out of the total sanctioned strength of 36,49,468, the number of vacant posts in various ministries and departments is 4,20,547, he said.

Demonetization: From 9th November 2016 to 10th January 2017, more than 1100 searches and surveys were conducted by the ITD; more than more than 5100 verification notices issued; The undisclosed income detected in these actions was more than Rs. 5400 crore. 

Disclosure of information regarding law flouters/specific taxpayers is prohibited except as provided under Section 138 of the Income-tax Act, 1961.

Income Tax Department pushes additional cases of High Cash Deposits in Second Phase of Operation Clean Money. 

The Income Tax Department (ITD) has used information received under the Statement of Financial Transactions (SFT) to identify 5.56 lakh new persons in the second phase of “Operation Clean Money” (OCM). These are persons whose tax profiles were found to be inconsistent with the cash deposits made by them during the demonetization period. Another 1.04 lakh persons who did not disclose all bank accounts during e-verification in the first phase of OCM have also been identified. In the first phase, 17.92 Lakh persons had been identified for e-verification of large cash deposits, of which 9.72 Lakh people had submitted online response.

Subject:- Modified Assured Career Progression Scheme for the Central Government Employees – Clarification regarding.

The undersigned is directed to invite reference to the Para 4 of Annexure-I of the Modified Assured Career Progression Scheme issued vide the Department of Personnel and Training Office Memorandum No.35034/3/2008-Estt.(D) dated May 19, 2009 providing that benefit of pay fixation available at the time of regular promotion shall also be allowed at the time of financial upgradation under the Scheme. Therefore, the pay shall be raised by 3% of the total pay in the pay band and the grade pay drawn before such upgradation. There shall, however, be no further fixation of pay at the time of regular promotion if it is in the same grade pay as granted under MACPS. However, at the time of actual promotion if it happens to be in a post carrying higher grade pay than what is available under MACPS, no pay fixation would be available and only difference of grade pay would be made available.
