7th Pay Commission Recommendations has begun to emerge!

“It doesn’t come as a surprise that even bits and morsels of information about the recommendations, which is being eagerly expected by nearly 50 lakh employees and pensioners, make headlines.”
The recommendations of the 7th Pay Commission have slowly started to make their way to the media in the form of unconfirmed news. The information that was being extensively discussed by all for more than a week now has finally made it to the websites yesterday.
It has now been confirmed that the 7th Pay Commission will submit is report to the Government next month. With the report being given a final shape, certain pieces of information have already started to hit the media. Some of the workable recommendations of the commission are out.

: There is a lot of thrust on the IT modernisation project in the Karnataka Postal Circle of India Post.

With Core Banking Solutions (CBS), Core Insurance Solutions (CIS), and the Core System Integrator, the department is hoping to create strong IT infrastructure and applications for all its services.

B.V. Sudhakar, Chief Postmaster General, Karnataka Postal Circle, said that in the State, 58 head post offices and 320 sub post offices had been covered under CBS. Paycommission update - from Railway Union source !

Recently we came to know from Railway Employees Union sources that seventh cpc, which is likely to submit it's report in the next month is going to recommend uniform multiplication factor as 2.86. Further the source also said that the present Grade Pay system is going to be abolished. Minimum pay is likely to be Rs 21000 against the union's proposal of Rs 26000.
Another source described that pay commission is going to suggest early retirement. 33 years of service or attaining 60 years of age, whichever is earlier, will be the exit time.
It is also reported that HRA pattern and percentage is likely to remain unchanged.
We do not expect our viewers to accept these information as authentic as none of the news mentioned above has any strong base. Still it is published here as each and every central employees and pensioners are being restless after waiting for more that one and half years and looking for any news (whether authentic or not !).

A Mile stone in the struggles of AIAPC - Directorate issued orders to AIAPC general secretary

Dear Postmasters of Tamilnadu,

Postmasters cannot participate in the membership verification process 2015 - directorate orders

Revolutionary greetings to all. Due to 3 years delay, we have planned for alternate solutions to bring our PM cadre issues. But Directorate itself, now gave clear cut clarification to all the postmaster cadre officials to not to participate in the membership verification process 2015. Since postmaster cadre is the distinct cadre, they are not come under 16 categories of approved unions membership verification process like NFPE, FNPO, Supervisory association, etc., vide directorate letter no : 13/01/2015-SR dated at 08.06.2015 ( Copy of the directorate letter is attached with this post)

Now it is very clear that we could not be a member of NFPE, FNPO, All India Association of Postal Supervisors etc., We could not sign in membership forms of any 16 approved union which would become invalid too. In the same time, it is worth mention here that we could not sustain without the member of any approved unions.

So AIAPC is compelled to knock the door of JUSTICE regarding ‘Distinct Category’ and recognition of AIAPC for Postmaster Cadre. AIAPC files Writ Petition No C.W. 6895/2015 before the Hon’ble High Court, Jodhpur Bench that has been heard this day.  Next date of hearing will be announced shortly together with issue of Notice to the Respondents. We won’t let the Membership Verification Process-2015 complete before disposal of our case.

‘Postmaster Cadre’ doesn’t come under the 16 categories identified by the Department for the purpose of verification
