OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject:- Modified Assured Career Progression Scheme for the Central Government Employees – Clarification regarding.

The undersigned is directed to invite reference to the Para 4 of Annexure-I of the Modified Assured Career Progression Scheme issued vide the Department of Personnel and Training Office Memorandum No.35034/3/2008-Estt.(D) dated May 19, 2009 providing that benefit of pay fixation available at the time of regular promotion shall also be allowed at the time of financial upgradation under the Scheme. Therefore, the pay shall be raised by 3% of the total pay in the pay band and the grade pay drawn before such upgradation. There shall, however, be no further fixation of pay at the time of regular promotion if it is in the same grade pay as granted under MACPS. However, at the time of actual promotion if it happens to be in a post carrying higher grade pay than what is available under MACPS, no pay fixation would be available and only difference of grade pay would be made available.

Reference 1: Postal Directorate letter no 25-4/2012-P.E.I dated at New Delhi the 5^th July 2017.

Reference 2: Postal Directorate Group – C cadre restructure order No. 25-04/2012-PE-I dated 27th May, 2016.

Reference 3: Postal Directorate - cadre restructure clarifications order no 25-04/2012-PE-I (Pt.) dated 11th November, 2016.

Respected Sir,

       

        Vide above Reference 2, huge task is under process in the mode of cadre restructure and vide above reference 2 of the Postal Directorate, Entire PA establishment 100089 PA posts were reduced drastically to 69996 PA posts and remaining posts were upgraded as supervisory posts w.e.f., 27.05.2016. All postal circles were directed to initiate immediate action for cadre restructure and to send the compliance report at the earliest on 27.05.2016 itself.

AIAPS(TN) is not participating in the proposed strike dated 13.07.2017

Dear Postmasters and Supervisors,

       On 13.07.2017 one day strike is proposed at Tamilnadu Circle and AIAPS-TN is not a part of that one day strike. 

    All the postmaster grade I/II/III offices and general line LSG/HSG II/HSG I offices are requested to function as usual.
