New Features Released For NPS Subscribers

Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority (PFRDA) takes various initiatives from time to time in order to simplify and improve the operational issues in National Pension System (NPS) like new functionality development under NPS architecture, simplification of account opening, withdrawal, grievance management etc. In this regard, recently many new functionalities have been released to provide the ease of operation for the benefit of subscribers and nodal offices. These are detailed below:

7th CPC : New salary from August 2016?

As per Report by AIRF on New 7th pay commission salary – On 13.07.2016, Shri Shiva Gopal Mishra, General Secretary, AIRF (All India Railwaymen Federation) has clarified to the effect that revised 7th Pay Commission recommended Pay will be paid from August salary.

Earlier he announced on 8th July about payment of enhanced salary from July which appears to be totally baseless.

7th Pay Commission salary to be paid from August

New Delhi: The central government is going to start payment of salaries to its 48 lakh employees according to 7th Pay Commission recommendations, which are to be paid from from August salary.

As per official calculation, no huge amount will be required for the payment of salaries according to 7th Pay Commission recommendations.

7TH PAY COMMISSION SALARY TO BE PAID FROM AUGUST

The cabinet approved the new pay scales for central government employees on June 29 after considering report of the 7th Pay Commission, led by Justice A K Mathur.

7th Pay Commission: How it will change your exact salary-know simply

It will come into effect from January 1, 2016.

The recommendations will benefit over 1 crore employees. This includes over 47 lakh central government employees and 53 lakh pensioners, of which 14 lakh employees and 18 lakh pensioners are from the defence forces.

The new scales of pay provide for entry-level basic pay going up from Rs 7,000 per month to Rs 18,000, while at the highest level i.e. Secretary, it would go up from Rs 90,000 to Rs 2.5 lakh. For Class 1 officers, the starting salary will be Rs 56,100.

Shame.... !!!

Present Question of 1 crore central government employees/pensioners is "WHY THE STRIKE WAS DEFERRED?"

Dear friends,

         Including Postmaster cadre almost all the cadre was severely affected with the meager hike by 7th CPC. We have to travel nearly 8 months for the analysis of 7th CPC retrograde recommendations and past developments regarding the implementation of those retrograde recommendations. Atlast GOI maintained the status quo in the implementations of 7th CPC. Strike was deferred 3rd time. Why strike was deferred?? Whether to give ample time to GOI to decide the justified demands of Government employees? or to dilute the protests?
