Cadre wise demands and the recommendations of the postal department to implementation cell

Dear Postmaster Cadre officials,

                Department has recommended to place us in the pay band of Rs 4200/-. But only if 7th CPC upgraded grade pay is enforced after cadre review then only it will be fruitful for us, but merely placing in Grade Pay matrix shall bring only Rs 600 to 800 hike.

Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar on Tuesday said the recommendation of 7th Pay Commission was not final and he would take up concerns raised by the Armed Forces at the right level.


In an exclusive interview with the India Today, Parrikar said he has prepared ground for smoothening the defence procurement which needed to be backed by deliveries now.
On the concerns raised by the Armed Forces over the raw deal given to them in the 7th Pay Commission, Parrikar said it was not the final word. "The seventh Pay Commission is in the form of recommendations. I do not think they (recommendations) will remain. I do not consider them as finalities. I have flagged them and will flag them properly at the right level," said the defence minister.

MEETING WITH CABINET SECRETARY ON PAY COMMISSION ISSUES

  A meeting with Cabinet Secretary Sri. P. K. Sinha was held at Cabinet Secretariat Committee Room, Rashtrapati Bhawan, New Delhi on 30.03.2016. 

   All Members of empowered committee i.e. Secretaries of Various Departments were present in the meeting. Department of Post was represented by Sri. Ashutosh Tripathi, Member (Personal), Sri Shailendra Dashora, DDG (Estt) Ms. Manju Pandey, DDG (Personal) & Ms. Anju Nigam DDG (SR) from NFPE Com. R. N. 7TH PAY COMMISSION ENHANCED SALARIES, ARREARS TO BE PAID IN JULY

New Delhi: The central government is going to start payment of salaries and pensions to its 48 lakh employees and 52 lakh pensioners according to the 7th Pay Commission recommendations from July along with six months’ arrears.

The Seventh Pay Commission report was presented to Finance Minister Arun Jaitley in November.

The payments will be made following the pay-fixation method in the new pay matrix which has been suggested in place of pay band and grade pay by the Seventh Pay Commission.

OBITUARY...........

Shri. N.Ramakrishnan (N.R) Postmaster Grade I, Sriverambur S.O Trichy division has breathed his last on last night. 

He is one among the front runner of our All India Association of Postmater Cadre union, and upto last noon he was speaking with our circle Secretary about the next course of actions of our Association. 

His sudden demise left all of us speechless and put into irrecoverable loss to our association. 

Deep condolences to his bereaved family and his soul may rest in peace.

Finance minister rolls back proposal to tax provident fund

New Delhi, Mar 8 (PTI) In the face of all round attack, Finance Minister Arun Jaitley today completely rolled back the controversial proposal to tax the employees' provident fund (EPF) at the time of withdrawal.

Taking the first opportunity available, he made a suo motu statement in the Lok Sabha in which he also announced withdrawal of imposing monetary limit for contribution of employers to provident and superannuation fund of Rs 1.5 lakh for taking tax benefit.
