1.What is Vigilance?

Ans-Keeping a watch to maintain the integrity of employees in an organization.

2. What are Vigilance  Activities?

Ans.- Preventive, Examination  of procedures to  remove loop holes, Regular and surprise   inspections,      Monitoring the activities of the  employees through returns, Detective, Investigation  of complaints or any  other  information regarding Irregularities, Punitive and Punishment  to the guilty.

3.- What are the articles  of the Constitution  of India which concerns  a government servants? 

Ans.-   Article  309 - Recruitment and conditions of service of persons serving the Union or State                           

   Article 310- Tenure of office of persons serving the Union or a State

NATIONAL ANOMALY COMMITTEE MEETING - RESULTS

OUTCOME OF THE MEETING

The 4^th meeting of the National Anomaly Committee was held on 5^th January, 2012. All the items could not be discussed on that day. The meeting was postponed and the same was held today on 17^th July, 2012. The gist of discussions and decisions are given hereunder.

Item No.1. Pay band of the merged pay scales: The demand to reconstruct the pay band in respect of merged pay scales (S8 to S10) by multiplying the minimum of the highest pay scales (6500-10,500) with 1.86 by virtue of which the pay band will commence with Rs. 12100 instead of 9300 is not agreed and as per the scheme disagreement has been recorded.

Item No.2. Extending the date for exercise of option: Extending the date for exercise of option to come to the new pay scale as also to the next increment date on promotion was discussed at length. While the official side will agree to reopen the promotional cases where such change of option becomes necessary on account of an unforeseen event, the question of extending the date in general will have to be examined. In the case of necessity to change the option once exercised in view of the recent order on increment was raised by the Staff Side. The Official side agreed to issue a clarificatory order.

SANCHAY POST VERSION 7.0 RELEASED.

ersion 7.0 contains additional forms in SB Group for handling NREGA transactions using eMO Client. Though the major new feature of Sanchaya 7.0 version is the addition of NREGA functionality to sanchaya post. all the offices should upgrade to Version 7.0. The NREGA functionality in the new version leveraging the existing eMO Plat form will enable automated bulk posting of credit transactions in SB Account.

Next anomaly committee meeting on 17th July 2012

Meeting of the National Anomaly Committee - 17th July, 2012 at 3.00 PM 

The 4th meeting of the National Anomaly Committee which was held on 5th January, 2012. All the Agenda Items placed before it could not be discussed and the meeting had to be adjourned. This meeting will now be held in Committee Room No.119, North Block, New Delhi on 17th July, 2012 at 3.00 PM.

Process of Upgradation:
======================


I: Upgrade the DB first with DB Script file:
   ========================================

1. Take Full Backup of POSPCC DB

2. Execute the DB Script (POSPCC_Script_Patch5_UIDRTS_04072012.exl) through ScriptTool.exe.  

3. On Successful upgradation of DB, go to Step II.


II. Copy the Dlls, SNT and EXE:
    ==========================

1. Copy all the Dlls, SNT and Exe files from the folder and copy the same into 
   C:\Program Files\SpeedNet folder ( default installation folder) 

2. Register all the Dlls. 

3. Execute the BNPLDataCorrection.exe file which is already there in SpeedNet folder. 


Now you may please run speedNet and confirm successful login.

Felicitation ceremoney to all the successful candidates who appeared for the Postmaster Grade I exam held on 03.06.2012 in Maharashtra Circle.

Dear Postmaster,

It is astonishing to see the support from all most all the postal circles to form a Centralised Guild of Postmaster to represent our own grievances to the Directorate. It is proposed to hold again a meeting of Guild of Postmasters Maharashtra ON 19TH AUGUST 2012 before the All India Meet. The venue will be at Mumbai.

Also, we decided to hold a felicitation ceremoney to all the successful candidates who appeared for the Postmaster Grade I exam held on 03.06.2012 in Maharashtra Circle.

In the meantime, the Divisional coordinators in Maharshtra circle should meet all the Postmaster members to collect the consent letter (from those who are not submitted) and submit the same to the Circle representative at the time of meeting on 19th August 2012. Also conduct divisional get together to discuss the working difficulties and solution on service matters according to the convenient day and time fixed. And decide to send at least one representative to the Circle level meet to represent your division/region etc. Of course, along with that the prescribed fund should be raised to make the event and other process a grand success.
