Direct recruitment of PA/SA in Postal Department Norms and Procedures

Applications are invited from eligible Applicants for filling of vacancies of PA/SA

1. Scale of Pay : 5200-20200 with grade pay of Rs 2400+ admissible allowance.

2.Age Limit : OC 18-27 years, SC/ST relaxable up to 5 years and 3 years for OBC

3.Educational Qualification : 10+2 Standard or 12 th Class with at least 60 %marks and above from any recognized /Board of school Education,English as Compulsory subject for OC candidate, 55% for OBC and 45% for SC/ST.

 4. Pattern of Examination : The Applicants shall be subjected to an Aptitude Test with total 100 marks .

5. Computer /Typing test - The typing test will be and test of data entry operations will be conducted on computer key board .

6.Applicants numbering five times the number of vacancies in each category shall be declared qualified for appearing Computer/ Typing test based on the marks secured by them in Aptitude Test .

7. Cost of application Form- The Application form is sold at price of Rs 50/- and sale will be through All Head Post offices and identified Post offices in the Circles.last date for sale closes on 25.09.2012.there will  not be sold after 25.09.2012.

8. Examination Fee : Rs 200/- All Female and SC/ST /Physically Handicapped Categories are exempted from payment of Examination Fee.

      If you are not knowing your application number then there is no way to track. If You had applied for the form via your email id, then check the email form sent by the department of posts, India.

    Dear sir.ye posts district wise fill of karega ya..differently...my ST hun.hamara district me ST me vacancys nahi hain..muje ye post milne ka aur dusra raasta hy kyaa?

      2 hours exam 100 questions 100 marks
      25 Aptitute
      25 English
      25 Reasoning
      25 General Awareness

      The same all IBPS Banking clerical syllabus can be adopted Mr. Manoj Kumar Sahani.

    Where can we see the result of PA/SA Exam held on 19th May 2013?
    We know they are not declared.
    But what's the website address so that we can visit and see our result whenever declared.
    Generally how much time it take to declare the results?

      website address is www.indiapost.gov.in
      Last year exam results announced within two weeks during 2010 at Tamilnadu circle. That time exams are conducted by the department of Posts. But this time exams were conducted by an outsourcing company. So Couldnt judge the processing time of that newly appointed outsourcing company Cena

    Hi sir in pst office exam ,is there is data entry also??and in typing test there is on screen typing or they will provide us any pad with matter?????..

      5 marks computer key board data entry and 5 marks essay type computer key board type writing tests shall be conducted after this aptitude test results. For every 1 post, 5 times of candidates shall be selected from aptitude test, and they might be allowed to attend type writing tests. From those 5 candidates, one candidate may be short listed with total marks obtained in aptitude test as well as computer type writing tests.
      Computer type writing tests shall be conducted in computer only with specially designed software for this purpose.

      Results dates are not yet published. But result publishing period was announced. From Auguest 1 to september 30, exam results shall be published to the various circles

      couldnt say the exact cut off mark for every state. So lets wait and see and till the results prepare for typewriting.

    i am physically challenged person (ortho arms affected)..And i applied for pa/sa exam 2014 under tamilnadu circle.. My doubt about is der any typing test for me..why i am asking is, i can type but i am unable to type fastly as normal persons..please clarify my doubt..

      Thats why you got quota for physically challenged. You could get relaxation in over all marks only not in each and every syllabus and tests.

    SIR I APPLIED FROM AP CIRCLE AND COMPLETED APPTITUDE TEST& COMPUTER SKILL TEST.NOW IN POSTAL LOGIN MSG SHOWN AS "PLZ CONSULT CIRCLE HEADQUARTERS OF POSTAL CIRCLE". SIR PLEASE TELL ME AM I SELECTED OR NOT? WHERE I WILL GO FOR FURTHER PROCESS?
