Subject: Revision/Amendment in Recruitment Rules for the post of Postal Service Group ‘B’ and Sr. Postmaster cadre- reg

Reference 1: No.9-14/2010-SPG dated at Dak Bhawan, Sansad Marg the 30th May 2016
Reference 2: This association even letter no AIAPS/GS/CHQ Corr/15-16 dated at New Delhi 20th June 2016 with the following reminder requests even dated 07th November 2016, 5th December 2016
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Respected sir,

Vide above reference 1 of Postal directorate, it is sought the stake holders to submit the suggestions and comments regarding revision/amendment in PSS Group B recruitment rules to conduct the PSS Group B exams for the vacancies arising from 2016-2017.

Since proposed PSS Group B recruitment rules are having very meager promotional opportunities to the operative side postmasters, vide Reference 2, this service association submitted its analytical suggestion with full-fledged data to the postal directorate to revise the PSS Group B LDCE quota of 25% to the open competition to IP/ASP officials and to the postmasters.

But even after the lapses of 8 months, amended PSS Group B recruitment rule is not circulated to the employees of this esteemed department. So because of this undue delay this association is submitted its reminder requests on 07.11.2016 and 05.12.2016.

Even after this association’s repeated reminder requests, amended PSS Group B recruitment rule was not circulated which pushed ourselves to hold the apex directorate body meeting with the respected Postal Member (P) and our recognized association AIAPS staff side on 15.12.2016. That time also our respected member (P) and administration team had assured to give the solid reply within the fortnight time for our AIAPS Association memorandum which included the PS Gr. B recruitment rule earliest amendment.

But no such solid reply was received till date to the undersigned even after the lapses of nearly 2 months. But that assurance is also yet to be honored to protect the welfare of the esteemed promising postmaster cadre officers of our prestigious department.

We are still having much faith on the directorate mechanisms to resolve the staff side grievances and the assurances given by the Member (P) of Postal directorate. But even after the repeated request letters, reminders and even as per the respected Member (P) sir assurances, if PSS Group B recruitment rule is not amended as per the genuine demand of this association, then this association has no other option except knocking the honorable court of law to get justice for our legitimate genuine demands.

Thanking you.                                                                 Yours faithfully,
---signed------
