AIAPS(GL) has taken the case of violation of DPC norms while Postmaster Grade III promotion

          Tamilnadu Circle,

          Chennai 600002.

Respected sir,

        Subject : Violation of norms in the promotion of Postmaster Grade III - reg

Ref : Directorate letter No. 04-43/2013-SPB-II dated at Dak Bhavan, Sansad Marg, New Delhi the 28.04.2016.

         Vide above reference, directorate expedite the action from circles to fill all the unfilled Grade II and Grade III posts.

        But unfortunately in the 2 recent DPCs, some due Postmaster Grade II officials’ promotion is barred by saying the “censure as a punishment” and “currency period voided punishments” which are clearly being a violation of guidelines circulated already while conducting the DPCs.

Still nothing was conveyed about barring the promotion so exact reason for barring from promotion is best known to the knowledge of the circle administration.

        Because of the above injustice, members of this association are suffering a lot and unable to get the promotion even after 3 decades of their service to the above said promotional post.

        So this association requests the hon’ble CPMG sir, to kindly issue early orders to promote the withheld officials to the post of Postmaster Grade III and render justice to them.
