Cadre wise demands and the recommendations of the postal department to implementation cell
Dear Postmaster Cadre officials,
Department has recommended to place us in the pay band of Rs 4200/-. But only if 7th CPC upgraded grade pay is enforced after cadre review then only it will be fruitful for us, but merely placing in Grade Pay matrix shall bring only Rs 600 to 800 hike.
If the pay commission refuses to upgrade Grade I postmaster to 4600 at par with IP cadre, it is desirable to seek the justice in CAT. IP cadre fought for 7 years to get back the parity with CBDT and CBEC inspectors i.e. 4600 grade pay. We can hope that PM cadre too gets upgraded at par with IP cadre. But one thing should be kept in mind that case is put fort in CAT effectively.
